About Isabelt Original Clear Invisible Belt
Our mission is to continue to provide our patented invisible belt line and other fashion fix it accessories. isABelt Ltd… founded in 2007 was the brainchild of partner and inventor Leslie Wilkins-Gaudio. Leslie came up with the idea of the isABelt while shopping for a pair of new low-rise jeans. As cute as the pants were, they would not stay up and you could see right down the back of her pants if she bent over or sat down. She found that she was wearing a belt even when she didn’t want to or her outfit didn’t call for a belt. Leslie saw that her friends all had the same problems and the isABelt was born.
isABelt is the Original invisible belt, the MUST HAVE Fashion “fix-it” accessory. A thin, strong and flexible clear plastic belt, that virtually disappears when worn, providing you with the assurance that all is secure without even knowing it’s there. isABelt prevents back gap, slippage and of course, belt bulk and belt bulge. The isABelt solves all of these fashion issues and many more. isABelt Ltd has three partners: Elise Wilkins, Leslie Wilkins-Gaudio and Lori Wilkins
HISTORY OF ISABELT
Always a true entrepreneur at heart, Leslie Wilkins–Gaudio, inventor and co-owner of isABeltLTD knew she had something BIG when the idea for her isABelt product hit her. The inspiration for the isABelt product was driven out of personal need for a fashion solution product that just didn’t exist. Leslie was tired of “constantly” having to wear a bulky belt when she didn’t want to. “I really wasn’t much of a “belt” person, and every time I put together a “great” outfit I found if I didn’t put on a “belt” I would be miserable all day since my pants would not stay up, OR if I bent or sat down I would have the dreaded “plumbers butt”.
However, everytime I put a belt on, no matter how thin the belt was, I kept getting a NASTY bulge in the front, and who needs extra bulge”! After a night of shopping and dining with her “fashionista” friends, one of her friends, who was “dressed to the nines”, kept tugging and pulling at her jeans and finally, out of total frustration, shouted “I wish there was a way to keep my pants up without a belt”! This was Leslie’s EUREKA moment and the isABelt was born.
